Filming in Grove Park and a kebab shop

On Wednesday 19th October, we went to a local park to film some more footage with Sam and Lucy. Again, we brought a video camera, SLR camera and a tripod. We made a lot of use out of the SLR camera as we took a lot of photos, that we are planing on using to create stop frame effects within the video. We aimed to really try to capture both the characters personalities within these areas, as we felt quite a lot of the music video was going to be set in the park and kebab shop.

We started filming in the park, specifically on the swings. We believed this would put across the fun side of both their personalities, and also the fact that they are still relatively young. We did quite a lot of really effective stop frame photos in the park too. We took photos of both characters, moving up and down their body, and also putting on their coats etc. One of my favourite stop frame moments, is where Lucy is standing in the middle of the path, and Sam walks by, looking at her bum whilst her passes. These shots are really good in showing both personalities.

Later on in the day, we filmed the kebab shop scene. This involed again more stop motion pictures, but also quite a bit of filming too with the normal video camera. Again, the owners of the shop were really kind in featuring in the video, and letting us use their shop. Looking at the footage we have gained, we will have to go back to the kebab shop to get some more footage, because of the fact that we forgot to shoot a few esential lines in there.
